On taller buildings, swing stages can sway away from the façade. Intermittent Stabilization Anchors (ISAs) prevent that by securing suspended platforms back to the building at set intervals.
ISAs are permanent anchors installed along the façade at specific heights. When crews operate swing stages or powered platforms, these anchors connect with stabilization devices to keep the platform close to the building.
Cal/OSHA and ANSI standards require ISAs on tall structures using suspended access systems. Like other anchors, they must be inspected annually and proof load tested every 5 years.
Contact Title 8 Builders to schedule an Intermittent Stabilization Anchor (ISA) design or inspection for your building. Our experts will ensure every system meets Cal/OSHA and ANSI requirements for safe, compliant façade access.
